About Us

Located in Lafayette, IN, Gathering Acres Events has been serving as a picturesque event and wedding venue since 2019. We specialize in infusing rustic charm and elegance into every occasion, providing everything needed for memorable events, including decor, expansive indoor and outdoor spaces, a full-service bar, and top-notch sound and lighting systems. Inspired by hosting our daughter's wedding in our own front yard, we recognized a community need for a venue like ours. Our love for event hosting has only grown, and we are committed to being the premier choice for event gatherings in Lafayette. We hosted our wedding at Gathering Acres, using the all-included package. Lisa was fantastic with the last-minute decor, seating chart, and menu changes, even after our "one-month" meeting. We brought in our DJ, who worked well with Verlyn and his sound and lighting system. The lights were great and something we didn't even discuss; they just did them. The bride and groom's room was clean. Due to the weather, we had to pivot to an indoor cocktail hour, and Lisa handled all those details. Our guests could enjoy the outside area when the rain cleared up. We thought some had left early, only to find them on the porch swing chairs. Lisa and Verlyn are efficient at changing from the ceremony to the reception, even with guests still in the room. We brought sentimental items for decorations, and they took great care in using them. Many of our guests said they enjoyed the wedding, and a lot of that had to do with the venue!
